How Does The Dryer Lint Alarm Work?
DrySafer™ Dryer Lint Alarm PLUS is made up of two components; an airflow & temperature sensor and an alarm. The sensor attaches to the back of your clothes dryer to monitor the outgoing exhaust airflow pressure and temperature. If an obstruction in the vent system is detected, the alarm beeps three times, alerting you of a clogged vent. If the dryer temperature exceeds 185°, the alarm rapidly beeps five times, alerting you of the overheating dryer.
A properly maintained, clean clothes dryer and dryer vent system can minimize fire hazards associated with your dryer.
