Meet Tom Asciolla

Having personally repaired thousands of burnt out dryers throughout his thirty plus years in the appliance service business, Tom Asciolla experienced firsthand the huge demand for an alarm that warned of potential dryer fires caused by excessive lint build-up.

The initial product criteria were:

• Ease of installation
• Affordability
• 100% compatibility with all dryers

What resulted was the DrySafer™ Dryer Lint Alarm PLUS, an early warning device that alerts homeowners of highly flammable lint buildup before it ignites.

With its ease of installation, homeowners can now reduce their chance of extensive property damage, injury or even possible death due to excessive overheating of their clothes dryers. Or have installed when their contractor cleans out their dryer’s exhaust vents.

Meet Jack Terrazas

With over 35 years’ experience orchestrating the strategic, marketing, sales and business planning functions for both $100M+ companies and start-ups, Jack capitalized on his vast array of engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing and industry relationships to establish the commercial viability of DrySafer.

Jack set out to and accomplished the following objectives:

• Develop branding, imagery, market positioning and concept refinement
• Sell DrySafer throughout a number of channels, from brick & mortar ‘Big Box’ retail chains to in-home service companies such as appliance repair, chimney sweeps and duct cleaning
• Continue to increase the performance of DrySafer with subsequent generation models

The new 3rd gen DrySafer™ Dryer Lint Alarm PLUS was just launched last year and is now available at Lowe’s with a number of in-home service companies beginning to offer the “PLUS” model to its residential and commercial business.

With its new ‘Crush-Proof’ Airflow Sensor, built-in temperature alarm plus ability to detect restricted airflow up to 90 feet away (for dryers located in basements
of 2-story homes), no other dryer lint alarm can match DrySafer for quality
