Installation & Product Updates

Problem: The Drysafer reduction sleeve doesn't fit onto the dryer's exhaust flange and the airflow monitor's flange fits too loosely on the dryer

Installation Hint: Dryer flange adjustment

Alternate Install / Concrete Wall

Using sheet metal screws attach tie wrap holders to the back of the dryer, careful not to screw into any of the dryer's componets.

Testing the Airflow Sensing Device

There is only 2 ways to test the function of the Airflow Sensor without connecting it to a dryer. Be sure to first plug the unit in.

First: Push and hold the test button for 5 seconds. This will verify the operation of the electronics (10 alerting beeps will commence). Press again to reset.

Second: Hold the flap in a fully opened position for 1 minute. This simulates a stuck open flap and the unit will self-diagnose and set off the alarm (10 alerting beeps will commence).

When the alarm goes off, press the reset button and inspect the entire venting system and dryer for possible causes.
