About Safety First

DrySafer is the culmination of the efforts of Mr. Tom Asciolla and Mr. Jack Terrazas.

Tom Asciolla is founder and CEO of Apex Appliance, a well established appliance service and repair business within the New England region of the U.S. Tom has multiple refrigeration and electronics certifications for repairing all major appliances, including washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and ovens. With his extensive hands on experience gained from thousands of service calls, Tom has developed a strong attitude for identifying and preventing potential safety hazards.

Jack Terrazas is founder and CEO of Market Entry Group, an incubator firm that facilitates the complete business development and launch process, from R&D and Manufacturing to Marketing, Sales and Distribution, including Business Plans, contract negotiations and investor access. Whether starting with napkin sketch or concept prototype, Market Entry Group provides a full array of resources for inventors, entrepreneurs and start-ups to gain Big Box product placement. With over 30 years experience with a number of major branded companies, Jack is a recognized and proven expert within the consumer products field.

Throughout his years of servicing dryers, Tom saw the need for an early warning device that could alert homeowners of potential dryer fires due to the excessive build-up of lint and other debris throughout the dryer's vent exhaust system. Tom then developed a handmade prototype to determine if such a device would actually work. Once he felt his concept appeared viable, Tom engaged Jack's resources to execute the business development process.

Given their complimentary attributes, Tom and Jack blended their talents to collaborate on the all aspects of development. Affordability, minimal parts and ease of installation were key objectives set forth from the beginning. To assure speed to market and cost-efficient start-up, it was decided upfront to employ the use of existing engineering technology. What resulted was DrySafer™ Dryer Vent Alarm, the industry's first viable early warning device that alerts homeowners of insufficient air flow throughout their dryer ventilating systems.

DrySafer now serves the needs of the entire clothes dryer aftermarket service industry, where appliance parts are sold. Service repairmen can now offer their customers a product that helps reduce their chance of injury, extensive property damage or even possible death due to excessive overheating of their clothes dryers. Thousands of appliance repair serviceman and DIY'ers have already purchased DrySafer with an overwhelming positive response.

Safety First will continue to improve DrySafer's technology through R&D by incorporating market user feedback. This will assure on-going improvement throughout its quality assurance process, manufacturing operations and marketing initiatives.

With their ability to conceptualize, engineer and market products that minimize potential injury due to hazardous property conditions, Jack and Tom chose as their company name, Safety First Appliance Protection LLC. This supports the objective of establishing industry recognition within the areas of product safety for residential and commercial applications.

The wide and various distribution channels available to stock and promote DrySafer will greatly increase the visibility, value and utilization of Safety First's resources.

Safety First Appliance Protection LLC is incorporated in the state of New Jersey.
